Special Reserve Chute + Vario

This is a spring special for all those pilots who are keen to get into thermalling and XC flying. We are hoping that many of our last years' learners will step up this season and extend their flying inland. Once you are all equipped, we offer to take you along to the thermalling sites.

To do so, you need an altimeter (+variometer) as well as a reserve.

We are suggesting a GIN One G reserve. Depending on your weight, you may choose a size 38 (up to 100kg all up weight) or a size 42 (up to 130kg all up weight). They are usually $850. There are slightly cheaper ones on the market, but this is what we recommend.

For an instrument, Brauniger's latest entry level vario is great, the Brauniger IQ One. This is $440.
