Flying / Travelling in Europe

Eva is currently in Piedrahita, Spain, at the preworld Championships. After a day of great flying and good distance, we suffered through a day experiencing why some people hate competition: Dangerous launch conditions with tail wind, rotors and plenty of dust devils left the decision to launch or not to the individual pilot. With competition pressure mounting, most launched despite huge collapses, lots of tricky launches etc. In the end, the day was invalid for a totally different reason: by 5pm when most people were flying towards the 125km goal, it ws raining at turnpoint 2.
