Annual Photo and Vid competition!

I hate admitting it, but it seems we are at the end of the summer which is when we usually run our photo competition.

Last year we had fantastic entries, each showing different aspects of what people like about their sport. I loved the diversity of the different pictures. Have a look at the 2010 PG and kiting winners.

With lots of people owning GoPros and other in-flight cameras now and getting rather proficient with video editing software, we are extending this competition to video clips.

1 Place kitesurfing - Willie Goosen

Please send us your favourite 3 photos of your sport. Ideally, we would like the photos as jpgs or tiffs about 1000 pixels wide.

Your clip should be 3 mins long maximum and capture whatever you like best about last year's flying. That can be as a link to YouTube or a memory stick or the likes. Any mention of wingsandwaves.co.nz - associated with positive picutres of our sports, are appreciated but make no difference in the scoring.

Prizes: For the best clip and photo overall, there will be a flying GIN flying suit. It is getting cold, we are selling lots of suits at present, so that seemed a good idea. Alternatively, the winner can get a "cross-dresser" voucher, meaning kiters can get a intro course PG and PG pilots can get a kitesurfing lesson or an equivalent prize of his / her choice. There are other nice prizes for the first 3 place.

Get into your photo library, find the best one! I will see that we get the photos into Airborn and on different web sites. Your credits will be on there where ever we publish them.
