Tandem Flight

A tandem flight gives you the chance to experience a long flight above e.g. the beautiful West Coast beaches, soaring with the seagulls high above the cliff, which usually only experienced pilots will experience.

Without any training or experience you can fly like a pro for 20-30 minutes in a tandem with one of our NZ Champion pilots. You don't need to be very fit or sporty, depending on the site we can fly at and the conditions on the day, we can accommodate most people.

We can make your flight as wild or as tame as you would like it: Either a relaxing soaring flight along the coast, or a wild acro flight. Wings & Waves has extensive experience flying with children, older and special needs passengers. Please talk to us about this option and let us know if you weigh under 50 or over 100kg.

In-flight photos and video are an optional extra at $80.

Especially for visitors to NZ or to Auckland, we recommend a package with transport out to the site, cold drinks, a SD card full of your in-flight photos of your unique experience. The lot for only $230.

Children who fly on the same day as their parents, pay only $120.

We offer discounts to locals, who meet us at the site and organise their own transport or anybody who prepays the flight into our account. $140 per person
