The Woody Valley Peak is a multi-purpose harness suitable for soaring, cross-country, and fly-trekking. It has the same loadbearing structure as the Woody Valley Velvet, but is made of lighter weight fabric and nylon. It comes complete with a carbon seat plate and the latest version of compact Cygnus Airbag. This has kept its weight to just 3 kg.
 
As with all our airbag harnesses, the Woody Valley Peak comes with a 3,0 cm thick polyethylene back pad that not only offers peace of mind, but also provides additional protection in case of an impact on take-off. It also has a Perspex pre former to offer some protection when the airbag is not fully inflated. All this extra protection weighs just 0,30 kg but can be easily removed to reduce weight and volume to a minimum for mountain excursions.
 
The Peak harness has a special leg support at front of seat plate automatically slackens during take-off and landing and tensions in flight. It has two large metal eyes and retaining straps fitted in the bottom of the spacious rear pocket, for holding telescopic trekking sticks safely in position.
